Every Heat tier, Spark to Torris
Heat is the number rated duels move: win and it climbs, lose and it falls, capped at ±40 a game and never below 100. Every account starts at Heat 1000 — already inside Ember. The tier below is prestige, never a gate: every mode is open at every Heat.
The tiers
- Spark Heat 100–949 — Every flame starts here. Legal moves, no real plan yet — pressure teaches fast.
- Ember Heat 950–1149 — Where new accounts land. Greedy, a little sloppy, no longer a pushover.
- Flame Heat 1150–1349 — Sharp and exact. Leave a gap open and it takes it, every time.
- Blaze Heat 1350–1599 — Reads two moves ahead. A careless slide gets punished on the very next turn.
- Inferno Heat 1600–1899 — Plays for territory, not tiles — it's boxing you in before you notice.
- Torch Heat 1900–2199 — Hoards its Surge like a weapon, and spends it exactly when it wins the game.
- Torris Heat 2200+ — The apex. Patient, deterministic, and it never blinks.
The apex tier
Reach Heat 2200 and the ladder calls you Torris — one name wearing three hats here. Torris is the game itself. Torris is also the hardest rival in Kindling, the boss bot built to be the toughest fight on the ladder. And Torris is this tier: the top rung of Heat, earned only in rated duels against real rivals, never handed out. Beat the bot once and it's a story. Earn the tier, and it's yours until someone takes it back.
